Brazil Facenda Rio Brilhante by EligoCoffee is a 100% Arabica coffee, perfect for espresso and moka. It comes from the Pantano region in Minas Gerais and grows on Rio Brilhante estate, founded by Inacio Urban and later managed by his children Erika and Fernando with son-in-law Noé.
The farm cultivates Yellow Bourbon, Topazio, Red Catuaì, and 785/15 varieties at 1.150 meters altitude, processed naturally and dry. The beans are certified NY2/3 scr. 17/18.
Origin and sustainability
The Rio Brilhante estate covers approximately 1.600 hectares, producing 130,000 bags annually. It has received national and international recognition, including Imaflora-Rainforest Alliance and Ethics and Traceability Awards for social responsibility, environmental protection, and sustainable agriculture.
The farm meets 100% of Rainforest Alliance standards, including providing housing and meals for workers, school support, composting, wildlife corridors, and advanced reforestation and soil restoration systems, transforming a dry region into a model of ecological and agricultural excellence.
